Paul LePage at the Blaine House in the state capital of Augusta, Maine whose family described her as "a medical miracle" who beat the odds for years and participated in medical studies to help others by seeking a cure for scleroderma (a disease of the skin and connective tissues), but who retired after 39 years at Keyes Fiber Co. and typically spent part of the year in Florida and part in Maine.
