Summary: Italian well-known mountaineer and director of the mountain-climbing college of ski touring for the Society of Tridentini Mountain Climber's Franco Dezulian offshoot section that was founded by the late distillery magnate Beppe Bertagnolli
who was among one of more than ten Italian foreigners reported missing and presumed dead following the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Nepal that killed more than 5,300 people and injured over 19,000 others during a series of major aftershocks, which also triggered multiple avalanches on Mount Everest and in Langtang valley with the death toll that continues to rise becoming one of the worst natural disaster to strike the Himalayan country since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake.
