Summary: Italian well-known mountain guide and member of the mountain rescue service team for the non-profit organization National Alpine Cliff and Cave Rescue Corps (CNSAS) in Milan, Italy
who was among one of more than ten Italian foreigners reported missing and presumed dead following the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Nepal that killed more than 5,300 people and injured over 19,000 others during a series of major aftershocks, which also triggered multiple avalanches on Mount Everest and in Langtang valley with the death toll that continues to rise becoming one of the worst natural disaster to strike the Himalayan country since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake.
