French geographer and associate professor of geography at the University of Marne-la-Vallee in Paris, France whose work focuses on popular continuities specialized in neighborhoods undergoing gentrification, urban development, and immigration who was a keen analyst of cities (especially of Grenoble and Lisbon) and has co-edited many publications including the first French reader of critical urban studies for Les Prairies Ordinaires, and who also was notably coordinator for the translation of the work of the British radical geographer David Harvey in the Paris capital of modernity.
