Summary:
Swedish Olympic sprinter who competed in her first international championships at the age of 15 during the 1971 European Athletics Championships in Helsinki, Finland becoming the youngest athlete entered in the field at the time, who went on to win five medals at European Athletics Indoor and Outdoor Championships highlighted by 60-metres gold medal in Munich, Germany in 1976 but who set the 60-metre national record time of 7.13 to take the silver medal at the 1978 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Milan, Italy in a time which still stands as a record today and whose career came to an abrupt end when she was convicted of doping in 1981.




Cause of Death: Cancer and pulmonary hemorrhage
