Summary: World War II veteran and recent recipient of the French Legion of Honor who was one of the last surviving members of the famed "Black Panthers", the 761st Tank Battalion that became the first black tank unit whose motto was "Come Out Fighting" and was also engaged in combat for over four straight months serving under the direct request of Gen. George Patton in his march across France through the Battle of the Bulge.
