Summary:
famed stuntwoman, actress and author who began her career as an actress appearing in the Charlie's Angels TV series in 1978 and in the 1979 movie Kill the Golden Goose, but whose career came to a halt in June 1980 when she was paralyzed from the neck down in a car stunt that went terribly wrong after her sports car crashed head-on into a van while she was working as a stunt double for Farrah Fawcett on the set of the ensemble action comedy Cannonball Run starring Burt Reynolds, who was awarded $4.6 million in damages following the tragic accident and wrote a book titled My Soul Purpose (1996) about her ordeal.
