Summary:
Turkish pro-Kurdish activist who had been hospitalized at an intensive care unit after he was severely wounded in the deadly June 5 twin bombings that killed two supporters in the initial blast and also injured over 100 others when two bombs exploded ahead of the Kurdish problem-focused People's Democratic Party (HDP) rally in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakir in what was intended to be the biggest rally of the HDP's election campaign but was cancelled after the incident, in which a suspect of the twin bombings at the HDP branches had been previously detained in 2007 for his links to Turkey's outlawed Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C).
