Summary: Indonesian diplomat serving as Indonesia's Ambassador to Pakistan since November 2012 who had been severely injured in the May 8 Pakistan helicopter accident after sustaining serious burns suffered up to nearly 75 percent of his body when the MI-17 helicopter he was travelling in along with other diplomats crashed just before landing in Naltar Valley and burst into flames killing seven people including his wife Heri Listyawati Burhan and two envoys from the Philippines and Norway as the military aircraft crashed through a school in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, in which the Pakistani Taliban later claimed the group had struck the aircraft with a ground-to-air missile hoping to assassinate Pakistan's prime minister Nawaz Sharif who was flying to the region at the same time, but the claim was rebutted by officials and multiple eye-witnesses.
