Summary: vice president of corporate accounts in North America for institutional business at the food services hygiene company Ecolab, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland
who was among one of eight known fatalities involved in the catastrophic May 12 Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 188 commuter train accident that also seriously injured over 200 other people when the train derailed and crashed on the Northeast Corridor railway junction as it was rounding a sharp curve at a speed of more than 100 mph in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while the train was traveling en route from Washington, D.C. to New York CIty with 238 passengers and five crew members aboard, in which federal authorities believe that the derailment was most likely accidental even though the train may have been hit by a projectile just minutes before the crash and the incident became one of the nation's deadliest train accidents to have occurred since the 1943 train derailment on the same curved section of tracks that killed 79 people and injured 117 others.
