Turkish pro-Kurdish activist who had been hospitalized at an intensive care unit for almost a week after he was severely wounded in the deadly June 5 twin bombings that killed two supporters in the initial blast and also injured more than 100 others on an pre-election rally of the Kurdish problem-focused People's Democratic Party (HDP) in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakir when an explosion caused by a bomb stuffed with ball bearings occurred just two days ahead of the June 2015 legislative elections in which the HDP party scored a major breakthrough, in which the Turkish government said one suspect had been arrested over the attack and was being checked for links to militant groups but has given no further details.
