Summary: one-time team captain and club president of Sydney's Coogee Dolphins junior rugby league team who was given a bravery award in 2008 for his actions as a heroic survivor of the 2002 Bali bombings when he ran back into the burning Sari Club nightclub dragging severely injured tourists to safety minutes after Islamic terrorists had destroyed the venue with two explosives and killed 202 people including 88 Australians while his team were on a club holiday at the time, but who was severely affected by the bombing after six of his teammates perished in the blast and suffered from a post-traumatic stress disorder for the past 12 years despite facing a gut-wrenching task in searching for bodies at a makeshift morgue in the days following the bomb attack.
