Summary: Canadian Class-A reservist soldier of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada infantry regiment in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada who was the only known fatality reportedly shot and killed by a mentally-disturbed lone gunman identified as 32-year-old terrorist suspect Michael Zehaf-Bibeau while he was on a ceremonial guard duty at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Canadian National War Memorial during a series of shootings that occurred at Ottawa's Parliament Hill legislative buildings and also critically wounded at least three others including House of Commons security guard Samearn Son before the suspected gunman was killed in a gunfight with parliamentary security officials at a nearby Centre Block parliament building, where members of the Parliament of Canada were attending caucuses just two days after an October 20 ramming attack on military personnel in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada that also killed a Canadian soldier, in which the attack was one of the nation's most serious security breach at Parliament Hill since the 1966 parliament bombing and have raised concerns about the effectiveness of police actions to prevent terrorist attacks and the security measures in-place at federal and provincial legislatures in the wake of the incident.
