Summary: Polish Olympic track-and-field athlete considered as one of the country's leading triple jumper and a six-time national champion representing two consecutive Olympic Games held in Munich and Montreal who had won two silver medals and a gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in 1973, 1974, and 1975 whose greatest achievement was setting indoor world record in triple jump of 17.03 meters (still the current Polish national record), but who later went on to become a politician and lawyer after retiring from his sporting career.
