Summary: Dutch-American international champion rower who was recognized with Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete honors and was an Academic All-Big Ten selection as a member of Indiana University's Varsity 8 boat during the 2011 season helping the women's rowing team to a 14-5 record before she later went on to pursue a doctoral degree in chemistry at the school, and whose accomplishments included racing in the European Rowing Junior Championships in 2006 and the World Rowing Junior Championships in 2007.
