Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 after he received a minor wound on the right cheek of his face in the course of the assassination caused by the ricochet of a bullet intended for Kennedy, but who was known to have been the only person wounded by gun fire in Dallas's Dealey Plaza that day in addition to Kennedy and Texas Governor John B.
