Summary: South African-born Israeli occupational therapist who was the only known fatality stabbed and killed by a Palestinian militant during a series of fatal West Bank twin knife attacks that also wounded two male bystanders while waiting at the bus/hitch-hiking station at the entrance to the settlement of Alon Shvut at the Gush Etzion Junction when the attack occurred four hours after the killing of 20-year-old Israeli soldier Sgt. Almog Shiloni in Tel Aviv at the same bus/hitch-hiking stop where three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and murdered in June 2014, in which the assailant identified as Maher al-Hashlamun is a member of Islamic Jihad and was jailed in Israel from 2000 to 2005 after he was convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at an IDF patrol.
