Summary: college student and son of prominent San Luis Obispo, California deputy district attorney Caryn Johnson-Michaels who was among one of six known fatalities reportedly stabbed or shot to death by a lone gunman identified as The Hunger Games second unit assistant director Peter Rodger's troubled 22-year-old son Elliot Rodger during a series of violent misogynistic drive-by shootings and multiple stabbing attack that also left at least 13 other people critically wounded in the streets of a Isla Vista, Calif. college town near the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara before the rampage ended when the suspect then shot himself to death after his car crashed into a parked vehicle and came to a stop, in which the recent shooting spree bore an eerie similarity to the senseless Feb. 23, 2001 car rampage and massacre carried out in the same coastal California community near the UC Santa Barbara campus where four pedestrians had been plowed to death by the son of a Hollywood director and driven by mental illness and intense feelings of rejection.
