Summary: British Olympic sprinter who had competed for Great Britain in the 4x400 metre relay where he won the silver medal alongside with his teammates Kriss Akabusi, Garry Cook and Philip Brown at the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, California and whose international career as a two-time world indoor record holder at the European Junior Championships in the early 1980's marked the start of a decade at the top of his sport in which he attended all major championships both indoor and outdoor.
