Summary: Slovenian Communist official and controversial politician who was the only Slovenian prime minister of the former Yugoslavia republic from 1969 to 1971 after he had held a number of senior posts in the Yugoslav Communist Party, but who was recently investigated by the Slovenian state prosecutor for accusations of human rights violations including genocide involving the actions of the Yugoslav People's Army against prisoners of war in the aftermath of World War II before the case (which was opened 60 years after the war crimes) was dismissed due to a lack of evidence.
