Summary: former professional football player and anti-gay activist who had played as a linebacker for five years in the NFL spending time with the Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, and Seattle Seahawks from 1974 to 1975, but who became a senior pastor at Antioch Bible Church in Washington state after retiring from football and was known to have been strongly objected to suggestions that current attempts to describe sexual behavior choices as bearing a resemblance to the African-American civil rights movement in the 1960's.
