Summary: British aspiring visual artist and expert valuer in rugs, carpets and antiques at the auction house Lots Road Auctions in Chelsea in south-west London, England who was among the 19 known fatalities involved in the February 2013 Luxor hot-air balloon crash when a sight-seeing hot air balloon carrying 21 people inside had caught fire and exploded in midair over southern Egypt near the ancient city of Luxor just before it was about to land and rapidly ascended about 300 meters to the ground a few kilometers away from the Valley of the Kings and its pharaonic temples popular with tourists (the pilot and one other person survived the accident), in which the balloon crash was considered as the deadliest aerostat disaster in history since the infamous Hindenburg disaster in 1937 which killed 36 people, but an investigation panel formed by the Egyptian government and prosecutors is seeking to identify the cause of the accident.
