Summary: chair professor of pathology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska who had previously engaged in the groundbreaking chromosomal research of owl monkeys, and actually discovered a unique species known as Aotus brumbacki (which was named after him) while he was in medical school at Penn State University, but who recently became editor-in-chief of the Journal of Child Neurology and the Journal of Evidence-based Complementary & Alternative Medicine.
