Summary: retired receptionist who had been reportedly hospitalized in serious condition from many internal injuries including a fractured rib and ruptured muscles she received in the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake that killed at least 166 people and seriously injured over 1,500+ others after the quake threw hew to the ground during an apparent fall while she was sitting at the kitchen counter in her Burwood, New Zealand home when the 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck the nation's central Canterbury region on the South Island.
