Summary: former professional football running back who was among one of nine survivors of the 1970 Wichita State University football team plane crash that killed 31 team players, coaches, and crew members near Colorado's Rocky Mountains while the team were flying from Wichita, Kansas to Utah for a game against Utah State, but who was also drafted in the fourth round of the 1972 NFL Draft by Buffalo and played one season for the Bills as well as a brief stint with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles during his career.
