Summary: Kenyan aid worker and electoral district coordinator with the United Nations Volunteer programme for the UN Stabilisation Mission in Haiti (MUNISTAH) who was believed to have been the lone Kenyan foreigner reported missing and presumed dead following the catastrophic 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Haiti that killed approximately 316,000 people and injured over 250,000 others during a series of severe aftershocks, which caused major damages to at least 30,000 commercial buildings and destroyed much of the Caribbean island's infrastructure region becoming one of the most powerful earthquakes to strike the country in 200 years.
