Summary: former U.S. Air Force serviceman who with his accomplice Pierre Dale Selby (executed in 1987) were convicted by an all-white jury for his role in the gruesome torture-murders of three people in the basement of the Hi-Fi Shop in Ogden, Utah during a 1974 stereo-shop robbery in which five people were forced to drink Drano and shot in the head, who spent nearly half his life on death row after a flurry of late-hour appeals, but who had insisted to the end that he did not deserve to die because he wasn't the triggerman in the slayings.
