Summary: Oklahoma death row inmate who at age 16 was convicted of the 1986 murder of his mother Vonda Bellafatto and stepfather Paul Bellafato as well as the 1985 shooting death of Oklahoma City convenience store clerk Robert Bower and became the first person executed in the nation for crimes committed below the age of 17 in 40 years, in which the United States has executed a total of 13 juvenile offenders since the reinstatement of capital punishment in 1976.
