Summary: Irish retired baker and parishioner at St. Mary's Church of Killyclogher on the outskirts of Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland who was hospitalized in critical condition for three weeks from shrapnel wounds suffered in the Omagh bomb explosion that was carried out by a paramilitary organization called the Real Irish Republican Army (Real IRA) after he had been caught up in the blast that happened on Omagh's Market Street, where the 500lb car bomb was detonated on August 15, 1998, making it the worst single terrorist incident in the history of the Northern Ireland violence, in which 28 other people were killed in the blast.
