Summary: French exchange student of the French-American student exchange program at Mendham Township Middle School in Mendham Township, New Jersey who was among one of 230 passengers and crew members reported missing and feared dead in the fiery crash of TWA Flight 800 when the ill-fated Boeing 747 jumbo jet mysteriously exploded in mid-air and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the southeastern coast of Long Island, New York shortly after takeoff from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport while he was traveling alone on his way back home to France after spending more than three weeks in America living with the Capozza family in Mendham, New Jersey as part of a natural cultural exchange program.
