Summary: auto repair manager and vice president of his family's automotive service center Hurd's Auto and Truck Service in Glen Burnie, Maryland who was among one of 15 remaining passengers and crew members reported missing and feared dead in the fiery crash of TWA Flight 800 when the ill-fated Boeing 747 jumbo jet mysteriously exploded in mid-air and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the southeastern coast of Long Island, New York shortly after takeoff from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport, killing all 230 people aboard while he was traveling to Paris, France to vacation with his girlfriend.
