Summary: eighth-grade student at Wilmington Middle School in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania who was among one of 230 passengers and crew members reported missing and feared dead in the fiery crash of TWA Flight 800 when the ill-fated Boeing 747 jumbo jet mysteriously exploded in mid-air and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the southeastern coast of Long Island, New York shortly after takeoff from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport while he was traveling to Paris, France to meet his mother and two sisters after his family had planned to visit a French youth who lived with the Babbs as an exchange student last year.
