Summary: daughter of former high-level People's Temple officials Al and Jeannie Mills who was hospitalized in very critical condition on a life-support machine without ever regaining consciousness after she was found shot twice in the head near the bodies of her parents in separate rooms of their small cottage at the rear of a Berkeley, Calif. rest home in what police described as execution-style killings, in which police investigators said they had no suspects in the Feb. 26 triple shootings of a family that once battled the late Rev. Jim Jones and his People's Temple religious cult, but there was no evidence to support fear of a "hit squad" organized to kill the Mills family following the mass murder-suicide of more than 900 followers of Jones at his Jonestown, Guyana settlement on Nov. 18, 1978.
