Summary: troubled daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Marlon Brando who had been distraught ever since the murder of her boyfriend Dag Drollet in 1990 by her half-brother Christian Brando and had attempted suicide at least twice previously, who had suffered from depression for about five years since a car accident left her face scarred, bringing an end to her modeling career, and who lived much of her life sheltered from the limelight in Tahiti with her mother Tarita Teriipaia, a Polynesian who acted with Brando in the 1962 film version of Mutiny on the Bounty.
