Summary: nurse and former school board member of Montoursville High School in the hamlet of Montoursville in northern Pennsylvania who was among one of 230 passengers and crew members reported missing and feared dead in the fiery crash of TWA Flight 800 when the ill-fated Boeing 747 jumbo jet mysteriously exploded in mid-air and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the southeastern coast of Long Island, New York shortly after takeoff from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport while she was chaperoning a group of 16 students from the high school French club on a field trip to Paris, France along with her friend Judy Rupert.
