Spivakian pronouns

Entry: new terms proposed to serve as gender-neutral, thirdperson, singular, personal pronouns in English. These neologism are used by some people who feel that there are problems with gender-specific pronouns because they imply sex and/or gender.

 

Etymology: Named after American mathematician Michael Spivak (b. 1940).
