Raynaud's syndrome

Entry: blanching, redness, blueness, coldness, severe pain in the toe or finger tips. Seen mostly in young women. It sometimes leads to superficial gangrene of the skin of the toes or fingers.

Etymology: Named after French physician Maurice Raynaud (d. 1881).
